Darnytskyi borough: Low-flying BMW blew up Slavuta!

On Thursday, BMW 740 AC Schnitzer, Vito and ZAZ Slavuta collided late at night at the intersection of Kharkov highway and Privokzala Street.

According to eyewitnesses of a tragedy, BMW 740 AC Schnitzer, (which according to a pass on a windshield is used by Lvov regional Office of Public Prosecutor as service one) was moving in the extreme left lane along Kharkov highway from Leningrad Square. The driver, probably, not having calculated safe interval, collided with Mercedes Vito moving towards at the intersection of Privokzalna Street and BMW was thrown in Slavuta going in passing direction at the rebound.

ZAZ caught fire because of the impact against rear side and then a gas cylinder installed in the car blew up. They managed to save the passenger of Slavuta, but the driver was lost. Unfortunately, he burned down in the car... Arrived physicians only certified death of the man driving ZAZ. Firemen had to fill the burnt down car with foam. According to stories of involuntary witnesses - the driver of BMW who got out of his car was in boxers and a shirt, was in condition of alcoholic intoxication. Some ambulances and staff of the Ministry of Emergency Measures arrived.
