Construction and reconstruction of Zdolbunovska Street is actively carried out for improvement of conditions of movement of vehicles on capital roads during improvement of traffic infrastructure of Kyiv. It is one more step of city authorities in struggle against traffic jams, press service of "Kyivautodor" public utility informs. Start to renewed street will considerably unload roads in Darnytskyi borough. 
Construction of new parts of the road in Zdolbunovska Street and overhaul of existing carriageway will allow getting faster by 20 minutes from Dniprovska embankment to Kharkiv highway, passing Vozzednanya Avenue, Leninhradska Square and an overpass on Kharkiv highway. The project provides widening of existing carriageway of Zdolbunovska Street from 7,5 up to 15 meters (four lanes of transport - two in each direction). Carrying capacity of the road will make 26 thousand vehicles a day. Actually, Zdolbunovska Street will duplicate Vozzednanya Avenue. 
Now, Zdolbunovska Street has some sections, on which they have done for today: from Dniprovska embankment up to tracks - new road has been constructed; from tracks up to Teplovozna Street - the bottom layers of asphalt-concrete surface of carriageway have been reconstructed; from Teplovozna Street up to Revutskoho Street - new part of the road has been constructed. 
Traffic signs, traffic lights objects have been installed and power cables have been laid, and traffic lane markings nave been marked in Zdolbunovska Street. General extent of the street is 3,5 kilometers and its area is almost 52 thousand square meters. 
"Druha Smuha" has found out that the new highway will be opened next week - on Monday, December 14 or on Tuesday, December 15.
