According to the results of voting BMW 1-Series coupe has won the first place in its category in the competition "Golden Steering Wheel 2008". Сhairman of board BMW Dr. Norbert Reithofer has accepted the prize in Berlin awarded by the Sunday newspaper "Bild am Sonntag", printed in the biggest circulation in Europe. The victory of BMW 1-Series coupe is based on a choice of readers, by which results the two-door car has received 26,4 % from more than 220,000 votes. This result emphasizes big popularity of BMW 1-Series, which sales have grown appreciably within one year.
