Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Ltd. promulgated the first design sketches of the next model of Rolls-Royce which release is planned for 2010. The new automobile which received working name RR4 will be smaller than Phantom and will receive completely new unique engine Rolls-Royce.
The concept of design was authorized in 2007 and now at full speed continues the engineering designings.
The chief designer Ien Cameron says: "The operational characteristics not demanding efforts, reference level of comfort and efficiency, executed with the greatest carefulness and attention, remain major principles of design Rolls-Royce. Model RR4 has more informal component in comparison with models of Phantom, with bigger accent on driving. By way of design it is expressed in slightly reduced sizes and more organic forms of model, at the same time, with more powerful, purposeful proportions. It is the real and uncompromising Rolls-Royce in all senses ".
In 2009 further details of design and engineering construction will become known.
